Dubai Chiropractor - Dr Ahmed Fares
Dr. A.A. Fares, Accredited By: Canadian Board of Chiropractic Examiners,Alberta Board of Chiropractors, American National Board of Chiropractic Examiner, U.S.A. U.A.E. Medical Association.
Dr. Fares was born in Swift Current, Canada and raised in Calgary, Canada. He prepared for his Pre-Chiropractic curriculum at the University of Calgary where he emphasized majority of his studies in the science field which included: Anatomy, Physiology, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Zoology. After completing his studies in Calgary he traveled to Dallas, Texas and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Parker College of Chiropractic.
Courses included Biochemistry, Histology, a major emphasis on Anatomy and Human Physiology, X-ray, Clinical Diagnosis, Chiropractic Bio-Mechanics and Adjusting Techniques, as well as over 1000 hours of patient care in the Public Out-Patient Clinic. By attending the latest Chiropractic and associated health care seminars, Dr.Fares offers patients with the latest advancements in Chiropractic and Healthcare. In conjunction with his certification in Acupuncture/Meridian Therapy, Dr. Fares utilizes the latest techniques in Diversified, Thompson Drop, Gonstead, Active Release Technique, and Activator Method.
After graduating in January of 2000, Dr. Fares returned to his home in Calgary where he established his private practice. After 4 years in Canada, he would re-locate to Dubai, U.A.E. where he would establish the largest private chiropractic centre in the Middle East. The Centre has been offering effective healthcare to nationals and expatriates alike; some traveling from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait to receive treatment. Dr. Fares has been featured on “AlArabia” news station which was broadcasted internationally in the summer of 2005; he was invited back numerous times to talk about chiropractic and healthcare. Dr. Fares was also invited by Dubai Bone and Joint as a guest lecturer to speak on the topic of Back Pain. Dr. Fares’s treatment has been specifically sought by Royalty in the Middle East, Professional Footballers, Body Guards to the Stars, and Professional Horse Jockey’s. He recently treated Brazilian and Local football players and was featured in an article for the National Newspapers. He gives special attention to all of his patients, offering the same high standard of care.
A husband and a father of three, Dr.Fares enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, tennis, and weight training. “We love to accept patients that other medical professionals can’t help, or refuse to see” explains Dr. Fares. “It’s a good feeling knowing that we’ve played an integral role in avoiding surgery for some patients. It’s our responsibility to educate those who can benefit from chiropractic with proven and effective alternatives to surgery”. Dubai Chiropractor - Dr Vanda Corbett
Dr. Vanda Corbett, B.Sc, D.C.,A.L.C.P, is a 2004 cum laude honors graduate of the "Then Fountainhead of Chiropractic", Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, lowa, U.S.A.
Dr. Vanda Corbett is Canadian and attended the University of Calgary in Canada for pre-admission credits. She is certified with Canadian, American and United Arab Emirates National Chiropractic Boards, and is also an active member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors and the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. Dr. Vanda was in a successful multi-disciplinary practice in Alberta , Canada with her family before deciding to expand her professional career and move to Dubai in the fall of 2010.
Dr. Vanda Corbett, B.Sc, D.C.,A.L.C.P., has known that she wanted to be a chiropractor since the young age of two, except at that time, she wanted to be a "firecracker", being unable to properly pronounce chiropractor. Dr. Vanda has been fortunate to be under chiropractic care her entire life. She was born into a family that has always lived by the philosophy of the body having an innate healing ability and how through chiropractic the body is able to release its own healing potential.
Even with having the background of chiropractic in her family, it was through Dr. Vanda's own personal health challenges that she was able to confirm her decision to become a chiropractor. "I have encountered all types of traditional and alternative means of health care around the world, " Dr. Vanda states, "yet it was my roots, chiropractic, which saved my life. I chose this profession to provide other people the benefits of which I have experienced."
Dr. Vanda's passion is helping families achieve their highest health potential. She currently has patients between the ages of four hours old to 98 years young. Dr. Vanda is well versed in a multitude of chiropractic techniques which allows her to see a wide spectrum of people by utilizing a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Vanda has completed many post - graduate courses specializing in extremities, sports injuries, pediatrics and pre and post pregnancy care for mothers.
One of the most rewarding opportunities that Dr. Vanda has had since becoming a chiropractor is the ability to travel on humanitarian trips around the world. She has volunteered in Nicaragua, Fiji, Brazil and India helping to develop chiropractic clinics to provide care to the world's most disadvantaged. Dr. Vanda affirms, "Every time I visit a country, it is an incredibly humbling experience. The cases and people we see during these trips who are helped through chiropractic care is amazing. It makes all the travel worthwhile."

Dubai Chiropractor Dr. Mike Emrani
Dr. Mike Emrani was born and spent his early years in Tehran. He then moved to Vienna, Austria where pursued his education and follow his dream of becoming a Doctor. In 1984, he moved to San Jose, California, USA, studied for 6 years and graduated with honors from the University of New York, USA. In 1990, he enrolled in one of the most respected Chiropractic School in Northern California (Palmer College of Chiropractic West) where he completed his education in field of Sciences.
After graduating in 1994 from Palmer at the top of his class, he continued his internship to further his skill in Chiropractic with one of the best known multi disciplinary clinics in the Northern California along side Dr. Coyle. After working for two years with Dr. Coyle, he opened his first private Chiropractic clinic in 1996. Two years after he opened his office, he was recognized by the World Health Organization(WHO) and awarded him an honorary Certificate of Excellence. He was once again recognized by the same organization in 2000 and 2002.
Since 1994, he has established, owned, managed and practiced in 3 different multi disciplinary clinics in San Jose, San Francisco and Oakland Ca., USA. He has provided consulting services to other practitioners in areas of practice management, logistics and scheduling, fee management and personal supervision. He has also provided Chiropractic, Orthopedic, Neurologic, Physical and Radiological examination, prepared long and short term treatment programs and delivered treatment to thousands of his and other practitioners’ patient in need of his service.
He is highly skilled in various Chiropractic techniques including Diversified, gentle seated adjustment, all related hypertext/ hyper flex injuries also related to motor vehicle and work related injuries. He has treated patients for more than 14 years in both the patient treatment and pain management. He believes that before doing something as life altering, or like surgery, you have to try all alternative and Chiropractic is the most effective and cost efficient way of dealing with pain and changing your way of living. Kay Vosloo
Kay is originally from South Africa with over 12 years experience in the health, wellness and fitness industry. As a qualified nutritionist, Kay has also trained at the world renowned Chi Centre for Practical Detoxification in the UK as a colon hydrotherapist and naturopathic wellness-screening consultant. She brings with her a wealth of information concerning the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system and large intestine; common disorders, dysfunctions and diseases affecting bowel movements and digestive processes; stool analysis in relation to healthy stools and stool abnormalities, in addition to healthy wellbeing and lifestyle recommendations.
Kay is very adept at working with both the emotional and physical factors relating to digestive and general wellness in addition to having strong referral systems with other medical specialists, personal trainers and alternative therapists. She takes pride in combining and teaching various techniques such as breathing and self massage in order to help her patients reach their goal of optimal health.
Kay also serves as the consultant nutritionist for an independent fitness company based in Dubai in addition to writing for various fashion and health publications. She regularly speaks at wellness events and conferences both in Dubai and abroad.
Kay is a Member of the Board of Governance for The International Register of Integrative Colon Therapists and Trainers (RICTAT) and is the UAE Awareness Centre Ambassador for the Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy (GPACT).
